BRITINA design group provided design through construction document services for this dynamic, multi-use development. The architectural design incorporated materials and forms from historic mining era structures to establish a cohesive identity for this new retail and office development.
The landscape design references the forms and textures of the earth's strata as they would appear during the mining process. Rolling bands of color and texture draw pedestrians through the site and highlight key building entrances and features. A large water feature serves as the centerpiece of the development, creating an aesthetic and interactive center that anchors the development.
