Britina Design Group was founded in 1997 on the value of creating a collaborative team environment that establishes continuity between the design process and the finished product. Our range of project experience includes urban design, streetscapes, transit-oriented development, affordable and market rate housing communities , park and recreation facilities, and institutional and commercial developments. Drawing on our many years of experience and a commitment to creative landscapes and site design, we are grounded in lessons learned from decades of service; we look towards the ever-evolving practice of bringing safe, enduring, and memorable environments to public and private spaces throughout the West.
Our team envisions community-centered outdoor spaces where both ecology and culture thrive, making a high quality of life accessible to all. We bring these spaces to fruition by designing inclusive outdoor environments that connect, support, and add value to natural and social systems alike. Our work is driven by our passion to serve and the values of deep listening, understanding, creativity, responsiveness, collaboration + inclusion, honesty, and respect for our clients, the communities we serve, and our professional allies.

Ainslie O’Neil
Project Manager
Senior LA
With a passion for centering user input in her design practice, Ainslie applies years of experience in horticulture and landscape architecture to inventive, functional, and climate-responsive design solutions. She enjoys collaborating with both community members and professional partners throughout the design process to ensure culturally competent and cohesive design solutions. Her background in community organizing, facilitation, and teaching supports Britina’s approach to public engagement.
Ainslie is currently diving into the study of horticultural therapy and exploring the practice of leveraging public, institutional, and community outdoor spaces as therapeutic environments for individual and collective healing.
Our collective of designers and support staff are passionate about uplifting everyone’s skill sets in a highly collaborative process. We enjoy learning from each other’s gifts and challenging ourselves individually and collectively to create the utmost positive impact in all our personal and professional pursuits.
