BROADWAY | EAGLE,CO

As the lead design consultant for a four-block streetscape improvement project along the Town of Eagle’s main street, Britina worked closely with the Town’s staff and residents through a series of public workshops and presentations. The resulting design concept represents the close tie between the Town and its natural surroundings. Large fields of specialty pavement, bordered by raised stone walls and planting areas, meander from side to side along the entire length of the streetscape to create a feel reminiscent of the flowing waters of nearby Eagle River. The streetscape corridor terminates in Eagle’s Town Park, also designed by Britina, which features a performance amphitheater and playground. The project earned ASLA Colorado Chapter’s 2007 Honor Award for Design.
