CREEKSIDE PARK | ARVADA, CO

Located along Ralston Creek in central Arvada, this park is appreciated by neighbors for its interactive waterside spaces, expansive turf areas, and diverse play structures. Britina worked closely with the City of Arvada, Urban Drainage, and the Army Corps of Engineers in the design of a new 1,400 LF trail alignment and bridge crossing along the Ralston Creek Greenway Trail system. Sandstone slabs were placed along the stream bank at former trail crossings and areas of extreme erosion to stabilize the bank and enhance park user access to the stream; the slabs also provide seating for park and trail users throughout the native landscape areas.
