FOREST SPRINGS PARK | ARVADA, CO

With a strong focus on natural preservation, Britina approached the renovation of Forest Springs Park with an emphasis on conserving resources and protecting the existing beloved mountain views. Custom shade structures and picnic areas, complete with bocce and horseshoe courts, are oriented west to maximize the visual connection with the Rocky Mountains. The ecology of the foothills is mirrored in the large swaths of native grasses and low-water plantings that line the soft crushed granite trails through the park.
